This installment of Star Log.EM includes: 1,000 words discussing the gerana, a peculiar avian creature that swallows victims whole to digest their experiences for sustenance. When the creature’s had its fill, its body seals its now-youthful victim inside of an egg before delivering to the doorstep of a nearby family in the dead of night, the source of the common “baby-delivering stork” myths found across several different cultures. Also included are quick-apply age category rules for use with the gerana, as well as a short story that best describes the gerana and its peculiar feeding habits.
