Additionally, five corruptions based on classic tales and stories are provided: decouplement, the cellular collapse of a person’s body until naught but a fleshy puddle remains; genewarp, a horrific transformation triggered by dramatic alterations of a person’s DNA; psychomutation, the rapid amassing of psychic power that eventually leads the mind to detonate with the force of a nuclear bomb; therianthropy, a bestial transformation triggered by lunar light; and vampirism, the slow transformation of a living person into an undead moroi.
