In this book you will get a full 1-20 class that focuses on manipulating the tides of battle through affecting fate and probability. As a fixed list caster with a unique progression, spells will be important to the theme of the class but not the sole focus. The role of the Fateshaper is that of a single target debuffer coupled with abilities to benefit the entire party. It makes heavy use of rerolls and so may take some additional time at the table, though once you are accustomed to the nature of these abilities they should also become resolvable quite quickly.
