Letters from the Flaming Crab: Gnomes vs. Gremlins
Letters from the Flaming Crab is a monthly series of Pathfinder-compatible supplements. Each Letter focuses on exploring a different topic to give gamemasters and players new, exciting options that can be dropped into any campaign.
Within Gnomes vs. Gremlins, we feature two warring races.
First we introduce gyrenomes, a race of gnomes obsessed with gadgets, clockwork, and chemistry. They are masters of tinkering, jury-rigging, and crafting technological items. They are perfect for players who want to play techno-savvy gnomes featured in other RPGs.
On the flip side are the mogwai, a race of gremlins ferociously connected with nature who dismantle and destroy all technology with a religious fervor. These tiny fey can sabotage technological objects with a mere touch.
Both the gyrenomes and mogwai cause technological malfunctions. The gyrenomes can accidentally trigger them when they go overboard with tinkering. And mogwai cause them intentionally. We include a table with 50 potential malfunctions.
For both races, we feature alternate racial traits, favored class options, racial archetypes, items, feats, and spells.
We also include the homes of both races: Gnomehome and the gremlin warren, with notable locations and noteworthy NPCs included.
